Groundnutseed and its oil ease: RBD Palm oil rises

Mumbai, June 26 (UNI) Spot prices of groundnutseed and its oil today declined on sustained heavy selling pressure by bulk consumers and retailers, while RBD palmolein rose on fresh buying support by stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oil segment (per ten kgs), groundnut oil, seasame expeller, sunflower exp, rapeseed exp and castor comm witnessed a downward trend.

Groundnutoil and sunflower exp were down by Rs 5 per ten kg on sluggish demand by stockists.

Rapeseed exp and castor comm fell by Rs 4 per ten kg each on poor demand by bulk conusmers. Refined Palm oil rose by Rs 2 per ten kg on speculative buying, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal) javas 70/80 and 80/90 rose by Rs 75 and Rs 25 per quintal. Castorseed Bombay and catorsed Disa also shot up by Rs 25 and Rs 75 respectively. Groundnutseed fell by Rs 25 per quintal.

In De-oiled cakes (per tonnes), undec cotton grade and rapeseed extra shot up by Rs 200 per tonnes on good demand mainly from exporters, traders added.
