Gold August 08 contract up

Mumbai, June 26 (UNI) Gold August 08 contract rose by 1.15 per cent to Rs 12,364 per ten grams at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today.

Silver July 08 contract was up by 1.46 per cent to Rs 23,729 per kg. Silver June 08 contract improved by 1.47 per cent to Rs 23,730 per kg. Platinum September 08 contract was up by 1.14 per cent to Rs 28,308 per 10 grams, a MCX release said.

Nickel August 08 contract edged up by 2.15 per cent to Rs 972.50 per kg. Zinc June 08 contract gained by 0.56 per cent to Rs 80.30 per kg.

Crude oil July 08 contract was up by 0.52 per cent to Rs 5,756 per barrel.

Turmeric August 08 contract gained by 1.41 per cent to Rs 4,468 per quintal. Jute September 08 contract went up by 0.75 per cent to Rs 1,670.50 per quintal. Cardamom July 08 contract was up by 2.97 per cent to Rs 694.50 per kg. However, mentha oil September 08 contract went down by 2.06 per cent to Rs 514.30 per kg, the release added.
