Fire breaks out at Reay Road

Mumbai, Jun 26 (UNI) A big fire engulfed a commercial shed at Reay Road in South Central Mumbai here early today, destroying a huge quantity of goods.

Around 10 fire engines, eight water tankers and two ambulances rushed to the spot. Firemen were still battling the flames, 12 hours after the fire broke out.

The shed housed a carboard and a plastic and wood factory, next to Britannia company.

However, fire brigade sources said there were no casualties.

The cause of the fire is still to be ascertained, the sources said.
