Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw hospitalised

Wellington, Tamil Nadu, Jun 26 (UNI) Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, who is critically ill, is undergoing treatment at the Military Hospital here.

A bulletin issued by the hospital said the Field Marshal had developed Acute Bronchopneumonia with associated complications and his condition was serious for the past four days.

He is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit.

Doctors at the Military Hospital were rendering the best medical support and treatment. They were being assisted by a Pulmonologist from Army Hospital (R and R), New Delhi, the bulletin added.
