Diarrhoea grips flood ravaged Mayurbhanj
Baripada,Jun 26 (UNI) Water-borne diseases like diarrhoea witnessed in Chhuruni colonysahi under Betnoti block, about 45 km from after the area ravaged by the recent flood of the river Budhabalanga.
Altogether ten sick persons suffering from diarrhoea were admitted to the Betnoti Primary Health centre till Tuesday for treatment, health department sources said.
One Asit Behera was later shifted to the district headquarter government hospital at Baripada as his condition at Betnoti PHC deteriorated further.
Villagers blamed the Rural Water Supply organisation for its failure to supply potable drinking water to the village that caused the spread of the disease.
