BSF jawan died under mysterious circumstances in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jun 26 (UNI) A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan died under mysterious circumstances in the frontier district of Kupwara, official sources said.

Constable Abdul Hamid of 81 batallion BSF was on way to his room after completing his guard duty when suddenly a fire was heard, the sources informed.

The other BSF personnel immediately rushed towards the room and found Hamid in a pool of blood. He was immediately rushed to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police has registered a case and started investigation, they said adding it was not immediately clear how he got the bullet wound.
