BJP leader L K Advani to visit Orissa on June 29

Rourkela, Jun 26 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition and former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani will attend the Orissa state BJP's executive body meeting scheduled to be held here on June 29.

BJP national vice-president and local MP Juel Oram told newspersons here today that during his six-hour visit to the steel city, Mr Advani is scheduled to address a massive public meeting in the afternoon.

Mr Oram said around 250 delegates, including Ministers, MLAs and MPs from different parts of the state, are scheduled to attend the state level executive body meeting.

He said the executive committee meeting would discuss the latest political situation, party position and future programmes related to the coming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.

Mr Oram said on the party's request, BJP's aliance partner BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik had agreed to attend the public meeting.
