Backlog reserved vacancies of OBCs to be treated separately: Cabinet
New Delhi, June 26 : The Union Cabinet today gave its approval to the proposal for issuing instructions to the effect that Backlog reserved vacancies of the Other Backward Classes to be treated as a separate and distinct group not subject to the limit of 50 per cent reservation in a year.
The issuance of the instructions under reference would pave the way for conducting Special Recruitment Drive for filling up Backlog reserved vacancies of the OBCs.
