AnSI to organise exhibition
Shillong, Jun 26 (UNI) A month-long exhibition on ''Human Origins, Genome and People of India'', highlighting the culture and lineage of the people of the Northeastern region will begin here from July 2.
Official sources said here today that the exhibition will be organised by the Anthropological Survey of India (AnSI) in association with the Union Ministry of Culture, to be inaugurated by Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister Timothy D Shira.
Besides focussing on the Northeastern region, the exhibition will also highlight the performance of the AnSI in the region, sources said.
