11 dead in UP road accidents
Lucknow, Jun 26 (UNI) As many as 11 people were killed and over 30 others injured in separate road accidents across Uttar Pradesh today.
According to the police, three people were killed on the spot after a mini truck collided head on with another truck, which was loaded with gas cylinders in Mungrabad Shahpur area of Jaunpur district. Twenty five passangers sustained critical injuries in the accident.
In the same district, a road accident claimed a car driver's life, while injuring one another person. A minor boy also came under the wheels of a tractor in Madiyaon area of Jaunpur.
In Mahoba district, three labourers were crushed to death after the truck they were travelling in overturned.
Two passengers were killed and an equal number injured in a collision between two jeeps in Sultanpur district.
According to reports from Ballia, an elderly man was burried alive under the bebries of a dilapidated wall.
