Woman sentenced to life imprisonment for kidnapping
Patna, Jun 25 (UNI) A local court today handed out life term to a woman accused in connection with kidnapping of a school girl, Swetangi, and also imposed a fine of Rs 5000 on her in the case.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Vijay Prakash Mishra sentenced Pushpa Soren to rigorous life imprisonment after hearing the arguments of both sides.
Swetangi was kidnapped from Shastrinagar police station area in Patna on August 8,2003. She was later recovered by the police.
