Woman found dead under suspicious circumstances

Lucknow, Jun 25 (UNI) A 64-yr-old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her Mahanagar situated residence in the Uttar Pradseh capital this evening.

Deepa Rai Chaudhary (64) -- wife of former Sri Jai Narayan Degree College (KKC) principal Late D P Rai Chaudhary -- was found murdered with her throught slit open.

Property dispute is emerging as the reason behind Deepa's killing as she had named 75 per cent of the property to her married daughter Anamika and left the remaning for her son Anupam, police said.

Anupam was into offset printing business, while Anamika resided in Ashiana colony of the city since marriage.

The mother-son duo also had spat in the matter earlier.

Investigation was underway, police added.
