Tribal freedom fighter's statue unveiled in MP

Chhindwara, MP, June 25 (UNI) A metal statue of Satpura region's prominent tribal freedom fighter late Badal Bhoi was installed at his native village Titara Dungaria village in this district.

At a programme coinciding with the death anniversary of Gondwana queen Durgawati yesterday, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Kamal Nath unveiled the statue of late freedom fighter.

Uniting the tribals in Satpura region, Bhoi launched a movement against the then British government.
