Shirdi blood bank honoured with Maharashtra State Government award
Shirdi, June 25 : The blood bank run by the Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi, has been honoured by the Maharashtra State Government by awarding certificate and memento for its continuous efforts to collect and give the blood to the needy patients at the reasonable prices.
This award was accepted by Sunil Karjule from Maharashtra Health Minister Dr. Vimaltai Mundada.
This blood bank is motivating the blood doors in the rural area. The devotees also donate the blood on every Thursday and Sunday.
In all 7300 persons donated blood in 2007. This blood is supplied to Ahmadnagar, Nasik and Aurangabd Districts.
