Rs 12,000 cr investment proposed in automotive industry: Minister
Hyderabad, June 25 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Major Industries Minister J Geeta Reddy today said about Rs 12,000 crore investment was proposed by many companies in the automotive industrial sector in the state.
Speaking after laying the foundation stone for the Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs' (COWE) Automotive Industrial Estate here, she said MLR Motors was planning to invest Rs 11,000 crore, Lokesh Motors Rs 500 crore, Hinduja Foundries Rs 300 crore and COWE Rs 250 crore.
COWE President Suman Kumar, who also spoke on the occasion, expressed her happiness for allocating 90 acres of land to COWE to help women set up their enterprises in three phases.
