One killed, 5 hurt in accident
Rajkot, June 25 (UNI) One person was killed and five others were injured when the jeep in which they were travelling, fell into a ''nullah'' near Tramba, about 50 km from here on the Rajkot-Bhavnagar Highway today.
The occupants of the jeep were coming to Rajkot from Bhavnagar, police said. The driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a sharp curve and the vehicle fell into the ''nullah''.
The injured people were rushed to the Rajkot civil hospital but the driver of the jeep, identified as Rajnikant Khakhar (30), succumbed to his injuries.
