Mizoram declares 'chemical war'
Aizawl, Jun 25(UNI) In a follow-up to the declaration of Mizoram as an organic state a few years back, the Mizoram Organic Commodities Board has prepared a documentary entitled 'Chemical War.' Releasing the documentary here today, Agriculture Minister H Rammawi called for collective efforts to make Mizoram a complete organic state.
Productive agriculture can be achieved without pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Mizoram can set an example to the rest of country about the productivity and market-oriented organic farming, the minister stressed.
The documentary would prove to be a great innovation in the move towards chemical-free farming in Mizoram, he added.
