Mini truck overturns: one dead, 7 injured
New Delhi, Jun 25 (UNI) One person died and seven others were injured when a speeding mini truck overturned in Timarpur area of north district.
While Debu Das, one of the seven labourers sitting in the truck carrying cement bags, died on way to hospital, six others were brought to the Trauma Centre near Kashmere Gate ISBT for medical attention, said the police.
The incident took place at about 0730 hrs near Burari in Timarpur.
The driver of the truck, Sanjay, has been arrested and a case of rash and negligent driving registered.
