IEI council meeting from Jun 27

Tiruchirapalli, Jun 25 (UNI) The local centre of the Institution of Engineers (India), will host the three-day 648th Council meeting meeting from June 27, centre chairman S Dharmalingam said.

In a release here today, he said nearly 100 members from across the country would participate in the council meeting, which would deliberate on institution management affairs, professional affairs, engineers' status, educational, constitutional and international affairs.

The meeting would also fix the theme for Engineers' Day, IEI and technicians-students' convention besides the venue and date for organising Indian Engineering Congress, the release added.
