Madhya Pradesh: Hear public, workers says Naidu
Bhopal, Jun 25: Asking the ministers and party workers in Madhya Pradesh to remain in election mode, BJP Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu has directed the party leaders to patiently hear the grievances of party workers and common people and solve it.
During interaction with ministers and party office-bearers here yesterday, Mr Naidu, who is election incharge for Madhya Pradesh where Assembly election is slated this year end, said a time-bound programme should be chalked out to reach the workers at grassroot level. Besides holding conferences of prominent people, conferences of voters to give prominence to those enrolled afresh should be organised, he suggested, adding the wrong policies of UPA government should be exposed.
Urging the ministers to ensure implementation of all assurances and announcements, Mr Naidu said the rank and file of party should come up to the people's expectations and ensure that the party retained power in the state.
Meanwhile, Mr Naidu said that inflation rate in Asia and Europe remained at 3 or 4 percent. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister P Chidambaram's claim of record inflation in the country as a result of global phenomenon was an attempt to cover up the UPA government's wrong policies, he added The countdown for the downfall of UPA government started with the outcome of Assembly elections in Gujarat and Karnataka, he said adding instability at the Centre reflected on its policies.
