Gujjar MLAs and others released by court

Jaipur, Jun 25 (UNI) Seven Gujjar leaders, including three MLAs, who were arrested under section 151 for breach of peace on May 24 after the Gujjar agitation, were today released from jail on directives from a local court.

District and Sessions Judge RK Jain ordered the release of rebel BJP MLAs Prahlad Gunjal and Attar Singh Bhadana, legislator Madan Mohan Singhal and four others.

The Judge also expressed displeasure at keeping the Gujjar, leaders in jail for such a long time and asked the governments Counsel to submit proper explanation on behalf of the government.
