Glastonbury not sold out for the first time in a decade
London, June 25 : Glastonbury festival seems to have failed to attract the crowd this year, for around 3000 tickets still remain unsold with just a few days left for gates to open.
While some blame last three years unpleasant memories, but critics claim that US rapper Jay-Z, the headline act, has held the traditional rock music fans.
However, festival bosses are confident all the tickets would be sold by the time the main stages open on June 27.
Last year all 140,000 tickets were sold in just two hours, but this year just 100,000 went on the opening day and organisers have struggled to shift the remaining 35,000.
There are about 2,000 performances on 35 stages during the five-day event.
