Four children drowned

Tikamgarh(MP), June 25 (UNI) Four children, aged betwen 12 and 15 years, were drowned while swimming in a pit filled with rain water at Thoga colony in this distict today, police said.

The pit was dug up for taking out murram near the residence of bidi workers.

On an alarm raised by the nearby residents, the children were taken out and sent to the district hospital, where doctors declared them 'brought dead', police added.
