Child restored to parents after nine months
Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Jun 25 (UNI) A nine-year-old boy, who wandered away from his home in Samalkot, was returned to his aggrieved parents after nine months.
Naidu, who was found loitering on the streets of Korangi, near here, and was admitted to Siri School for the Disabled at Samalkot nine months ago, had given his parents' names, but failed to recollect the locality they resided in Samalkot at that time.
Thanks to the efforts of Child Line Director G Satyanarayana, who counselled him during summer vacation, the boy could recollect that there was a cinema hall near their house, in which 'Annavaram' movie was screened.
The clue given by him helped the Child Line Director to establish the identity of his parents and trace them out with the help of the police. His parents, Lavudu Mahalakshmi and Parvati, both agricultural labourers, were the happiest lot after getting back their lost son.
