Beggar awarded 5-yr imprisonment

Ratlam, MP, June 25 (UNI) A local court has awarded five-year imprisonment plus a fine of Rs 1,000 to a beggar for attempting to rape a minor girl at the railway station area.

Prosecution contended that Ghanshyam Poraji was arrested for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl on the night of December 10, 2007.

District and Sessions Judge R K Pande found Poraji guilty and convicted him.
