APCC Chief meets naxal leader in hospital

Hyderabad, Jun 25 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President D Srinivas today met Janshakthi naxal party leader K Rajanna at a corporate hospital, where he has been undergoing treatment for the last one month.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Mr Srinivas said the naxal leader was his friend during college days in Osmania University. No discussion on state politics had taken place during the meeting, he said.

The APCC chief said he met Rajanna after 35 years and consoled him as he was suffering from health problems.

Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhara Rao and Home Minister K Jana Reddy had also met the naxal leader in the hospital recently.
