AIADMK demands dismissal of Rangasamy Govt

Puducherry, Jun 25 (UNI) AIADMK state secretary and MLA A Anbazhagan today reiterated the party's demand for the dismissal of the Congress Government in the Union Territory.

Addresing a press conference here, Mr Anbazhagan said the administration had paralysed and there was no semblance of law and order in view of the tussle between Chief Minister N Rangasamy and his cabinet colleagues.

As Chief Minister had lost the faith of people, President Pratibha Patil should intervene and dismiss the government headed by Mr Rangasamy. Party supremo Ms Jayalalitha had apprised the President about the poltical scenario in the Union Territory three months ago, he added.

Launching the the membership drive with the target to enrol two lakh members, Mr Anbazhagan distributed nearly 8,000 application forms today.
