Ahmadiyya Muslims condemn 'blasphemous' notes on Koran
Hyderabad, June 25 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh chapter of the 'Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaath' today condemned the ''blasphemous'' notes about Holy Koran and Prophet Muhammad found scribbled on some APSRTC buses in Secunderabad.
Reacting to reports appearing in a section of the media, associating the community with blasphemy, Ahmadiyya Muslim Community leader S M Alladin, in a release here, said ''We are in no way involved in this malicious deed, but instead are deeply shocked to learn about this sacrilegious act of maligning the honour and dignity of Holy Koran and the Prophet and condemn the act in strongest terms.'' ''We regard the Holy Koran as the final word of God and respect and honour Holy Prophet Muhammad from the depths of our hearts,'' he added.
