Traders jump in pot-holes to protest

Varanasi, Jun 24 (UNI) Several traders today jumped into big pot-holes as a mark of protest against the damaged roads here.

According to sources, the agitating traders of Lahurabir, Maldahiya and the nearby areas had apprised the district administration about their problems a few months ago.

The shopkeepers had complained that the damaged roads were hitting their businesses, but as the administration turned a deaf ear to their request, they adopted this unusual way to draw the authorities' urgent attention into the matter.
