SRIT to design and implement research information system

Bangalore, Jun 24: Sobha Renaissance Information Technology (SRIT) has been awarded the contract to design and implement the Indian Forestry Research Information System (IFRIS) at the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE).

Introduction of e-Governance in the forestry sector was the first of its kind by ICFRE in India, a SRIT release here said.

The e-Governance would help in improving and strengthening research activities and capacity building, ensuring a better stakeholder servicing.
