Several trains cancelled due to floods

Bangalore, Jun 24 (UNI) The South Western Railway today cancelled seven trains and diverted another pair of trains to a diferent route for a few days due to floods on the Kharagpur-Bhadrak section.

Train no 2509 Bangalore City-Guwahati Express which was scheduled to leave Bangalore City tomorrow at 2330 hrs has been cancelled till June 27, a SWR press release said.

While train nos 0201/0202 Guwahati-Yesvantpur-Guwahati Special and train nos 2853/2836 Hatia-Yesvantpur Hatia are cancelled till June 30 respectively.

However, train Nos 2863/2864 Howrah-Yesvantpur-Howrah Express have been diverted via Jharsuguda, Bilaspur, Nagpur, Balharsha, Waltair and Vijaywada till June 30.

The trains nos 0803/0804 Howrah-Mysore-Howrah Express have been cancelled on June 27 and29 respectively. While train no 5227 Yesvantpur-Muzaffarpur Express which is scheduled to leave Yesvantpur stands cancelled.
