Sena MP Khaire leads agitation in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, June 24 (UNI) Shiv Sena activists staged ''rasta roko'' and ''chakka jam'' agitations in various parts of the district today to protest against spiralling prices.

The Shiv Sena activists, led by MP Chandrakant Khaire and district Sena chief Ambadas Danve, staged ''rasta roko'' at Waluj and disrupted vehicular traffic for several hours. The Shiv Sena staged ''rasta roko'' in Paithan, Kannad and others parts of the district as well.

The activists raised slogans against the Centre and State Government for ''failing to check inflation''. The activists were later rounded up by the police.
