Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls in HP from July 10
Shimla, Jun 24 (UNI) Chief Electoral Officer Manisha Nanda today announced that the work on special summery revision of the photo electoral rolls in all the 68 newly delimited assembly segments of the state will commence on July 10.
She informed that the work on draft publication of electoral rolls would be carried out in all the polling stations and in the offices of the concerned electoral and assistant electoral registration officers including ADMs, SDMs, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars across the state. The filing of claims and objections would be from July 10 to 24 at all the above offices.
Reading of relevant part and section of Photo Electoral Rolls in gram sabha, local bodies and resident welfare association meetings etc and verification of names would be on July 12.
The disposal of claims and objections and preparation of supplements would be done from July 25 to August 30 and the final publication of photo electoral rolls would be on August 31.
