PSL FY08 net up 36% at Rs 84 cr

New Delhi, Jun 24 (UNI) PSL Ltd today said its net profit has increased 36 per cent to Rs 84 crore during the year ended March 2008 as against Rs 62 crore during the last fiscal.

Its revenues increased 40 per cent to Rs 2,261 crore in FY08 from Rs 1,608 during the last fiscal, a company statement said.

PSL is a global leader in manufacturing and coating of pipes for transporting hydrocarbon products, water products, and steel structural applications, and the largest manufacturer of high-grade large diameter Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes in the country.
