NTPC conferred Star PSU-2008 award

Mumbai, Jun 24 (UNI) Opposition leader L K Advani today presented the Star PSU-2008 award to the country's largest power utility, NTPC Ltd.

Mr R C Shrivastav, Director (HR), NTPC, received the award on behalf of his organisation at a function here.

The public sector undertaking was adjudged by a prominent jury chaired by Mr Sunil Bharti Mittal, CMD, Bharti Group.

Other members of the jury were Mr Doug Baillie, CEO and MD of Hindustan Lever, Mr Rajiv Memani, CEO and Country Managing Partner of Ernst&Young, Mr Ramlinga Raju, Chairman, Satyam Computers, Mr T N Ninan, Editor, Business Standard; Mr Jagdish Khattar, former MD Maruti Udyog Ltd; and Mr A K Puri, former CMD, BHEL.

Winners in the other categories were Cognizant, SBI, Bosch, Sun Pharma, BCCI, Hyundai, Fidelity, HSBC and Bajaj Auto.
