NIIT partners Infospectrum to provide ERP solutions for schools

New Delhi, Jun 24 (UNI) Country's leading IT education provider NIIT today signed an agreement with Nagpur-based software product developer Infospectrum to offer customisable Educational Resource Planning (ERP) solutions to schools.

''QuickSchool is a ERP tool that enables schools to manage information on academics, staff, students, examination, attendance, fees among others,'' School Learning Solutions President L Balasubramanian told reporters here.

Quickschool will contribute three per cent of the revenues coming in from the schools by next year, he added.

QuickSchool is currently being offered by Infospectrum in over 140 premier schools including Delhi Public Schools, Somerville Public Schools, International School Amby and Lawrence School.

NIIT will concentrate on private schools for the implementation of the product and later on, extend it to government schools as well.

The pricing of the product will vary from Rs five to 15 per student depending on the model and will be available in English language.

''Our solutions are available in 10 languages. Currently, Quickschool will be available in English but depending on the demand, we will take it local,'' Mr Balasubramanian said.
