Mayawati expels 'inactive' P G R Scindhia
Bangalore, Jun 24 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party President Mayawati today expelled party general secretary P G R Scindhia from the BSP alleging that he did not take active part in the party affairs in Karnataka.
In a statement issued here, party incharge for Karnataka affairs Veer Singh said Mr Sindhia had been expelled from the party for not being active in the party and not working in cohesion with the party functionaries.
Mr Sindhia, a former Janata Dal(S) strongman, had fallen out with Mr Deve Gowda and had taken the sides of the rebel faction led by Mr Virendra Kumar.
He had joined the BSP just before the Assembly polls in Karnataka in which the party had performed pathetically not making any impact on the voters.
