Mayawati expells 'inactive' P G R Scindhia
Bangalore, Jun 24 (UNI) Bahujan Samajwadi Party supremo Mayawati today expelled party General Secretary P G R Scindhia from the party alleging that he did not take active part in the party affairs in Karnataka.
In a statement issued here, party in-charge for Karnataka affairs Veer Singh said that Mr Sindhia had been expelled from the party for not being active in the party and not working with cohesion with the party functionaries.
Mr Sindhia, a former Janata Dal(S) strong man, had falled out with Mr Deve Gowda and had taken the sides of rebel faction led by Virendra Kumar.
He had joined BSP just before the Assembly polls in Karnataka in which the party had performed pathetically not making any impact on the voters.
