Man tries to commit sucide in court premises

Udupi, Jun 24 (UNI) A 38-year-old person made an attempt to commit suicide by consuming poison in the premises of a Court at Karkala in the district yesterday.

Babu (38) from Hebri had been to the Court in connection with a long standing family dispute against his own father over the ownership of a property.

Overtaken by emotion over the long delay he consumed poision in the court premises. He was immediately shifted to a hospital and later shifted to a hospital in Mangalore.
