CM announces solatium to families of film crew

Chennai, Jun 24: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi has announced a solatium of Rs one lakh each to the families of two film crew, who were crushed to death during a shoot in the city yesterday.

An official release here said, Mr Karunanidhi expressed shock over the deaths of Udayakumar and Sigamani and announced the assistance from the Chief Minister's Public Relief Fund.

He also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families.
