Cisco launches networking site for IT professionals
New Delhi, Jun 24 (UNI) With the growing popularity of networking sites, Cisco Systems today unveiled its 'Learning Network' to create an online platform for help IT professionals share, discuss and exchange ideas.
The site (www.cisco.com/go/learnnetspace) has been designed for both seasoned professional as well as individuals considering a career in IT.
Cisco also announced its associate-level career certification programs in CCNA Security, CCNA Voice and CCNA Wireles.
''We have to create a community of learners which cuts across geographical boundaries. These courses will provide networking engineers to the communty,'' Cisco Director (Learning) Milind Gurjar told reporters in telepresence conference.
The company has produced about 69,000 certified professionals.
With global revenues of 34.9 billion dollars, Cisco's clientele includes Ford India, Tata Group, Bharti, VSNL, BSNL, HDFC Bank, and Future Group.
