2 rescued in UP

Lucknow, Jun 24 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Police today said they have rescued two people from the clutches of their kidnappers in the last 24 hours.

The police managed to rescue Munesh Pal of Amkhera village only after the arrest of one abductor in Jalaun district. A pistol and some cartridges were also seized from his possession. Munesh had went missing from the district on May 19, police said.

Similarly, in Aligarh, Shyodan Singh was rescued yesterday.

However, the police was yet to make any arrest in this case.
