Train cuts watchman into two in Pondy

Puducherry, Jun 23: The watchman of a private school here was crushed to death by a train here today.

According to police, Anmgamuthu (55) was on his way to have tea when he tried to cross the track at the Railway Gate at Arumparthapuram.

However, before Angamuthu could cross the track, the Puducherry-Villuppuram shuttle train hit him.The body was cut into two.

Villianur police seized the body,registered a case and sent it to the government general hospital for post-mortem.
