Five short holiday breaks are the best stress-busters

Melbourne, June 23 : It might not amuse your boss, but taking quick holidays will certainly boost up your health and well being, just like the five essential food groups, a new research has revealed.

Celebrity doctor, Cindy Pan, said that quick weekend breaks would certainly heighten energy levels and positivity among stressed-out workers.

A new research has shown that twenty five percent of Australians who have not gone for more than one short break in the past year are stressed and unhappy. On the other hand, this figure was only two percent for those who have taken five short breaks.

According to lastminute.com.au, taking five short breaks in a year is equally important to one's health and wellbeing as the essential five food groups.

Cindy Pan claimed that having five short breaks a year might lead to a drastic improvement in your sense of well-being and vitality. In fact, quick weekend breaks also have the same effect on your energy levels and positivity.

In the study, 57 per cent of Australians reported that they don't take enough short breaks. This was despite the fact that they ranked regular holidays above a stable home for a happy and healthy life.
