Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.97 per USD
Mumbai, June 23 (UNI) Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US Dollar at Rs 42.97 per unit, unchanged from last Friday's rate.
The reference rate for Euro was quoted 27 paise higher at Rs 66.99 per unit, against Friday's rate of Rs 66.72.
The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted at Rs 84.7261 (84.7562) per Pound and Rs 40.00 (39.82) per 100 units respectively, a Reserve Bank of India communique stated.
