Prakash rules out quitting Cong
Hubli, Jun 23 (UNI) Congress leader and former Deputy Chief Minister M P Prakash today said there was no question of his leaving the party now.
Talking to newspersons here, he said ''we joined the Congress after considering all pros and cons and need some more time to be mentally one with the Congress.'' ''But there was no possibility of leaving the party at any cost,'' he said.
To a question, Mr Prakash said it was true that Congress leader Siddaramaiah was upset over the party allying with Janata Dal (S), but it was only a temporary alliance.
Mr Siddaramaiah also would not leave the party, he added.
