Mettur water level at 94.700 ft

Tiruchirapalli, June 23 (UNI) The water level in the Stanley Reservoir at Mettur across River Cauvery stood at 94.700 feet this morning as against its full capacity of 120 feet.

The inflow into the resevoir was 1,077 cusec and the discharge maintained at 12,000 cusecs.

From the Grand Anaicut, the authorities released 4,019 cusecs each through Vennar and Cauvery, 1,500 cusecs through Grand Anicut Canal and 1,049 cusecs through Coleroon for irrigation.
