Illegal arms unit unearthed, 2 held

Bareilly, Jun 23 (UNI) Special Operation Group of Uttar Pradesh Police (SOG) and local sleuths today raided an illegal arms factory unit and arrested two people.

The factory was operating at Madhopur village from long, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Raja Srivastava said.

Ganga Sahay and Naresh Pal have been apprehended for the crime and five pistols, rifles, drill machines and equipments used in making of weapons seized from the spot, the SSP added.
