IKF Tech receives Category 'A' ISP Licence

New Delhi, Jun 23: IKF Technologies Ltd today said it has received "Category 'A' licence" for Internet Service Provider (ISP) by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to provide Internet-based services on a national level.

''IKF Telecom is geared to actively participate in the booming Indian telecom market via incredible opportunities in the field of Internet, Broadband and VoIP services for corporate and retail users,'' IKF Technologies Ltd Director and President (Telecom Global Operations) Pankaj Garg said. Internet bandwidth and VoIP products can fit the specific requirement of any enterprise, call centre or retail client as IKF can provide VoIP and internet broadband services both over wire line and wireless technologies, he added.

This newly acquired licence further will enable the company to ramp up its services offering for a number of international call centers and corporates through a host of internet-based value added services. IKF Telecom's soft switch platform is located in India and the US and provides VoIP services to wholesale, enterprise and retail clients. It has its presence in 20 different locations, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore.
