BJP yuva morcha stages demonstration against inflation

Lucknow, Jun 23: Police used mild force to disperse the Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) youth wing workers, who were staging demonstration in front of the Council House against the spiralling inflation here today.

At least hundreds of BJP yuva morcha workers gathered in a procession and proceeded towards the Council House to vent their anger against the UPA government's inability to check inflation in the country.

Ranting vociferous slogans against the Centre, they burnt the effigies of several UPA leaders.

The police had to use water cannons for about half an hour to disperse the demonstrators.
